Acid Reign is a seminal English thrash metal band formed in 1985 in Harrogate, Yorkshire, recognized as part of the "Big Four" of British thrash alongside Sabbat, Onslaught, and Xentrix. Known for blending intense thrash with humour, they released The Fear (1989) and Obnoxious (1990) before splitting in 1991, later reforming in 2015 with vocalist Howard "H" Smith.
